Handling Your Electric Bills During the COVID-19 Crisis
UDWI REMC is keenly aware of the medical and economic hardship caused by the COVID-19 Crisis. As a member-owned cooperative, UDWI is dependent upon and accountable to its members. UDWI has already taken several steps, including the temporary suspension of non-payment disconnections, to help members who are struggling financially. These actions, although temporary, will assist our members in surviving the first stages of the COVID crisis.
We would like to thank our members who have been able to pay their entire electric bill in full and on time during this crisis. For our members who may have fallen behind in their payments, we encourage you to make regular payments for the highest amount that you can afford. Making these regular payments will help you, and UDWI, emerge from this crisis as quickly as possible.
